Features
Top Plate - The top plate fits standard 9-¼” x 11-¾” table openings. The plate is ?” thick annodized aluminum. All of the components below the top plate are attached by drilling and tapping the bottom of the plate to keep the upper surface clean, making it easier to slide materials smoothly through your router table since the materials do not catch on the edges of holes or impacted sawdust caught in the holes found on competitor’s router lifts.
Magnetic Insert Rings - The insert rings are held in place magnetically and are removed with the press of a button. This tool-free operation makes it quicker and easier to remove the rings during bit changes. Adjustable leveling screws are fitted below the insert rings to precisely adjust the rings to be flush with the top surface. Three insert rings are supplied with the LX3 Router Lift.
Heavy Duty Lift Posts - Four ¾” Acme-threaded lift posts are mounted in the four corners of the top plate to provide widely spaced support for lift carriage. The size, spacing and accuracy of the
Acme-threaded posts reduces vibrations and has higher accuracy than standard threaded-rod used on other router lifts. Geared lift mechanisms in all four corners are driven by a timing belt for smooth precise operation without the need for a lift lock.
Handwheel Operation - The LX3 includes a precision 5” handwheel instead of a small crank to make it easy to lift routers of all sizes. One full revolution equals 1/16” movement. Each increment on the scale is 1/512th of an inch (approx.002”).
Large Capacities - The LX3 handles routers from 3” to 4.3” diameter without the need for spacers thanks to its 3-jaw adjustable clamping system. 4.9” vertical travel allows for greater range of use.
Four Corner Levelling - Wide levelling pads are positioned in all four corners which provide more surface area than standard levelling screws.
Side Tensioners - Adjustable tensioners are positioned along the long and short edges of the top plate to accurately adjust the LX3 to your table opening and prevent vibration.
Starter Pin - The top is drilled and threaded to accept the included starter pin which is used in combination with bearing-guided bits when used without the fence (such as template routing).
